Rice/Clinton team should be formed to help bring peace to Palestine/Israel

Once again, as America chooses a new president the hopes for peace in the Middle East fade away.

I had hoped back in 2001 -- not expected -- that President George W. Bush would appoint outgoing President William Jefferson Clinton as the American liason to the Middle East peace process. Didn't happen.

Now that Condi Rice is leaving her post as Secretary of State, could President elect Barack Obama ask Rice and Clinton to team up and continue her/resurrect his efforts to bring hope to a hopeless situation?

Yes, he could. Will he? I doubt it. Even if he did, too many personality conflicts could stop it from coming together.

But think how much Rice and Clinton would bring as a team to the process.

Paul,

I won't quote scripture to demonstrate why "peace" with the Palestinians is never going to happen (or it will be a false peace) - but you cannot have peace when the ENTIRE POPULATION of 20 countries within firing range, HATE YOUR GUTS AND WANT TO DESTROY YOU.
