Not a shock, but I'd like to let people searching the net know that the eBillme $30 rebate offer at ZipZoomFly is a scam, nothing more.
How does it work? Well, the form you need to fill out changes before the eligibility period ends for your rebate.
I bought a power supply from ZipZoomFly.com for exactly the $100.00 minimum on June 30th. It takes a few days for the echeck to clear your account, in the meantime, the promotion period changes -- preventing anyone purchasing an eligible item from the previous period from applying for a rebate using the web form to do so.
You're supposed to have 15 days from purchase to apply for the rebate.
I called customer service, their recording took a message and said they'd call me back. Right.

Same to me. I just ordered a ati 4890 video card today and the link provided does not have Zipzoomfly listed on the rebate form, but then I did a google search, and guess what? I found this on the ebillme website, a rebate form specifically for zipzoomfly
https://ebillme.rebateaccess.com/websubmit.php?p=25193
you can fill this one out, it is valid from 7/1 to 7/15. I hope this can help you :)
I found that link, but I purchased the item June 30th, so it doesn't work for me.
eBillme support did send a link which worked, but they shouldn't be allowed to deny a working link to people who are still within the 15 day period which is allowed to remit the rebate application.
Zipzoomfly refused to help, saying that eBillme is merely an advertiser. I won't be buying from ZipZoomFly again, and neither should you. They continue to allow this scam to advertise on their site, knowing that roadblocks on placed in the path of people trying to obtain rebates they are lawfully due.
You're going a little crazy over a minor issue. As you even said, all you need to do to get access to a prior rebate form is to simply ask customer support. I would hardly describe that as a scam.
A little crazy!?!? ME!!!! NOOO, I'm going absolutely nuts dude.
It's a scam if they intentionally make it difficult in the hope that less people will redeem something they advertise as easy.
It's a scam if they don't fix the problem when they've been notified about it.
It's a scam when the initial response to an inquiry doesn't even seem to understand the question, which was clearly about a rebate and not a receipt.
I had to ask twice about something that should've been available in the first place.
Hi, I bought a videocard and RAM from Tigerdirect (they had the eBillme promo in Sept) and got the $30 check a little over 5 weeks after mailing in the rebate form.
